G’day and welcome to my website!

My name is Dr. Andrew R. Timming and I am Professor of Management in the College of Business at Alfaisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I got my Ph.D. from the inimitable University of Cambridge in England.

Though hard to define academically, I am an organizational psychologist who sometimes dabbles in evolutionary psychology and has very little good to say about sociology. Oh, yeah, I’m also a lover of free markets and conservative values.

I started my academic career at the University of Cambridge, where I lectured on postgraduate statistics. Since then, I have taught at the University of Manchester, England; the University of St Andrews, Scotland; the University of Western Australia, and RMIT University (Australia), where I was Deputy Dean Research & Innovation and Head of Department. Unfortunately, RMIT obviously has a problem with conservative academics like me.

I have published over 50 peer reviewed journals articles and have and h-index of 27 (and growing). You can check out my publications on my Google Scholar page.

I’ve also written two books. The first, Human Resource Management and Evolutionary Psychology, uniquely looks at management decision-making from a biological perspective. My second book, Applied Statistics, is a textbook that uses real employment data to teach basic and multivariate statistics. I’m currently writing my third book, Woke Nonsense, which is a critique of the cancer that is Cultural Marxism.

I am currently researching mental disability in the workplace. Many of my close friends know that I’ve suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder and for all of my adult life. The challenges that I’ve faced with OCD have been significant, but they’ve also made me a stronger and more resilient person. I’m happy to have a chat with you about OCD and how you can raise awareness of this disorder.

I currently live in Riyadh, KSA. If you find yourself in Saudi Arabia, please reach out. I’d love to meet up sometime.
